"My wife and I have bought three properties with three different realtors in the past ten years. When we decided to move to the suburbs, we went to open houses and looked at properties for six months without a realtor. We weren’t sure we needed one and we didn’t want to use our earlier agents.
We met Catherine at an open house. Both of us liked her right away. She was very knowledgeable about the main line areas that we were looking at (Lower Merion, Radnor, and Tredyfrrin-Easttown). Catherine listened to the things that were important to us (she was very familiar with the main line school systems) and she was never pushy. We asked Catherine to represent us. Catherine showed us over 40 houses. She was very honest about the pluses and minuses of every property. There were a couple properties that one of us would like and one wouldn’t. Catherine was patient and never pressured us to make an offer or to accept a house that didn’t meet our needs.
After an eight month search, we finally found the right house. But there was another interested buyer. We were on summer vacation but Catherine kept in touch with the seller’s agent and emailed us right away when the other buyer’s offer had fallen through.
Catherine was fantastic during our search. She was even stronger during the offer and contract period. We told Catherine we wanted to draft the strongest possible offer at the lowest possible price. Catherine used her knowledge and experience to include several key terms in our offer. We found out later that several were critical to the seller accepting our offer. During the contract period, we were in touch with Catherine almost every day. She coordinated access to the house for several inspectors, and for times when we had family visiting and couldn’t wait to show it to them (several times).
We love our new place—it’s perfect for us and our kids. But if we are ever buy another house, we would have Catherine by our side every step of the way!

Letter from Seller
I want to express my sincere gratitude for representing us in the sale of my Mother's house . In many respects this was a rather unique transaction. Given the fact that I was unfamiliar with the real estate market in Radnor, the fact that the house was uninhabited, only partially furnished and in need of serious updating and that we were listing the house in the middle of the winter contributed to this being an extraordinary transaction. As I represented my Mother, as Power of Attorney, and lived in New Jersey, some two hours away, also contributed to the unusual nature of the transaction.
From the moment that we met with you, I was impressed with your knowledge of the local market and your pricing recommendations were based on factual information, analysis of comparables and the condition of the home. Your assessment of the type of activity that we should expect after listing was also uncannily accurate. The representations that you made about what we could expect in terms of internet advertising, open houses for the agents and open houses for the general public was also met and exceeded.
Once the house was officially listed, there were a number of obstacles that were encountered, mostly weather related. There were several major snow storms, an electrical power outage that lasted several days and issues with the oil burner. All of these issues impacted the clean showing of the house. As I mentioned to you on several occasions, your willingness to get involved in helping us work through the issues was above and beyond the call of duty. There are not many agents who would have taken on those responsibilities.
The one thing that impressed me the most was the quantity and quality of the daily communications that I received from you throughout the listing period. Living so far away from the house, it was extremely helpful receiving feedback on the the listing and working through the offers that were made. The comprehensive written communications made it very easy for me to communicate with siblings regarding activity at the house, feedback received, explanation of offers and issues encountered with inspections, etc.
When we finally received an offer that we could accept, an issue arose with the inspection of the septic system for the house. Having no specific knowledge of the septic situation in the house and no prior knowledge of cesspools and septic systems, your willingness to step in and facilitate contacting the various contractors, surveyors and the township was extraordinarily helpful and again, way above and beyond my expectations of an agent.
Notwithstanding all of the difficulties and obstacles that were encountered, the house was sold and the closing was held within two months of listing for which I am very grateful. This was due in no small part to your conscientiousness and enthusiasm for your job and your willingness to provide personalized service and to take on extraordinary responsibilities throughout the process.
Again Catherine, Thank You for a job well done! Also, please feel free to use me as a reference in your future dealings.
Kevin M. Carroll"

Reccommendation from out of town buyer
"Catherine is simply the best realtor we have ever worked with. We have bought and sold many houses over the years and can sincerely say that Catherine has provided the most value to us throughout the process. We were only casually searching for a home with no firm commitment to move when we started working with Catherine. She treated the process very seriously from the outset and never lost interest or commitment as we searched for our new home. As we got closer to our move, not only did she leverage her extensive knowledge of the area to help us find the perfect home, she went above and beyond for all aspects of our move to the area. We always knew how busy she was, but she made us feel like we were her only clients. She was friendly to deal with and an extreme professional at the same time. I would refer any potential client to her without hesitation."

"With the help of Catherine's professional knowledge and genuine enthusiasm, we recently purchased a 100 yr. old home. There were multiple issues to be handled before closing and Catherine guided us through them with ease. We found her confident and reassuring manner invaluable!

""Catherine was a trusted advisor when we had to sell our home as part of a Corporate Relo. Within a week of going on the market, we had multiple offers. She was supportive during a stressful time and extremely patient as the relo process required lots of extra work for her part.. She is enthusiastic about providing the most personalized service she can to clients and it shows."
